Wonderful Start to the Week
Our regular, informal Twilight Concert series continued with pupils across First to Fifth Year performing a variety of interesting and diverse repertoire. These after school concerts are unintimidating and friendly allowing pupils who need to develop confidence to shine. A delightful mix of folk song and early Baroque through to songs from the musicals entertained a small audience of parents with some highlights including Lucy B鈥檚 Flute Sonata by Bach, Izzy N鈥檚 鈥楾he Jones Boys鈥 and Ava W鈥檚 鈥楴aughty鈥 from Matilda, the musical. We were uplifted by Ethan T鈥檚 fantastic and triumphant 鈥楶olka鈥 on the trumpet.聽 Well done to all performers and we look forward to the next instalment of Twilight Concerts.
