Twilight Concert Highlights
The first Twilight Concert of the year was a lovely informal event which largely featured younger pupils. Twilight Concerts (usually held at 5.00pm) give pupils the opportunity to perform in a relaxed atmosphere and are a wonderful showcase for our many talented musicians. The audience was treated to a fantastic and varied programme of music, ranging from Alejandro G performing Elgar鈥檚 鈥楶omp and Circumstance March No 4鈥 on the trumpet, to Olivia B鈥檚 expressive rendition of Adele鈥檚 鈥楽omeone Like You鈥. Other highlights included Alfred D鈥檚 jazzy performance of Paul Harris鈥檚 鈥楽axequential鈥 on the saxophone and Eugenie C鈥檚 playing the evocative 鈥楶relude: Twilight鈥 by D. G. Rahbee. Lucy B ended the concert with an accomplished performance of the solo flute piece 鈥楽ea Echo鈥 by Sally Adams.
